Alan Surtees co-Director and founder of the Shrewsbury Folk Festival sadly passed away earlier this year. Alan was a friend and mentor to many on the folk scene.

Artists with a close connections to Shrewwsbury have contributed songs to a album as a tribute to Alan. All proceeds from the album will go to the Alan Surtees Trust which will give grants to young and emerging musicians and new musical projects. For avoidance of doubt 100% of the sale price will go to the charitable trust. The album was first available at this years Shrewsbury Folk Festival but you can now get your copies here.
